The TP TRIAD is a unique approach to pumping dirty water and uses three (or four) open impeller pumps coupled in series to provide a high capacity pumping system capable of handling dirty water containing suspended solids up to 10mm in diameter. This ability to handle particles in thick suspension means that the TRIAD can pump from a multi-chamber settlement tank or even directly from a strainer box without the need for a fine filter screen and is therefore virtually maintenance free.
The TRIAD can operate multiple static sprinklers or a mobile irrigator.
Unlike many other pumping systems the P3 TRIAD requires an operating current of only 15 amps (20 amps for P4).
The TRIAD is a self-comtained,
ready to operate system mounted in a galvanised steel chassis with its own
weather-proof housing and automatic frost protection.
The unit is supplied complete with suction pipe,float switch and flexible
outlet pipe and fitted with all necessary electrical controls (including mains
isolating switch, earth leakage circuit breaker, MCB fuses and current overload
protection) built into a water-proof control housing.
An automatic flow-monitoring (AFM) system constantly checks the outlet flow and operates a warning light should a fault occur. If an inlet or outlet pipe or sprinkler becomes frozen up or blocked the AFM also switches off the pumps after a timed period to prevent damage to the motors.
The multi pump configuration provides a valuable emergency back-up facility as the unit can continue to operate should a fault occur on one of the pumps.
Since its introduction in 1989 the TRIAD system has been well tested and proved in operation on a wide variety of farms and our many customers can testify to its reliability and very low maintenance costs.
The system has been constantly upgraded to utilise improved technology and keep pace with current safety requirements.

In the event of a fault on one pump or motor unit the others can continue pumping while repairs are effected, or a stand-by pump unit can be fitted in a matter of minutes. |
