These pumps can be connected
to pressure tank control systems to provide a completely self-contained supply
of pressurised water without
the need for header tanks or float switches.
Operation is entirely automatic, the pump switching on and off in response
to demand from the various outlets (taps, ballcocks, etc.)
Systems can be fitted with a dry-running safety cut-out which automatically switches off the pump if the borehole runs dry and restarts it when the water returns to a preset level.
The SCM 4 Plus 55 and
75 series models are ideally suited to meet the requirements of the majority
of farm, domestic households or holiday complex supplies, when used with average
yielding boreholes.
Where greater flow rates and/or higher pumping heads are required a range of pumps is available to provide flow rates up to 400 lpm.
